In the developing economy such as Nigeria, Corporate Governance and Credit Risk Management failure brought many Banks to their knees. The non-performing loans of the entire Banking sector in Nigeria was more than N2, 000,000,000,000.00 (Two Trillion Naira), a situation that made many banks in the country experienced negative share capital.
